WINE OF THE TERROIR
There are two wine regions close to the house, the Lot to the west and Gaillac to the South-East, about a 45 minute drive away. It's the Gaillac wines which you'll see most in the supermarkets.
Gaillac is distinguished by its century-long wine heritage and its extraordinary diversity of wine styles and local wine varieties.
The diversity of wines is astounding, from aromatic, dry whites, light roses and rustic reds to rich sweet and fruity sparkling.
There are a range of distinguished vineyards in the area, which are well worth a visit.
