The capital of Aveyronnais Aubrac, the village of Laguiole is famous for its prestigious top of the range knives, made by hand since 1829.
The Laguiole knife can be recognised by its small forged bee logo. It’s possible to visit the museum to see the process for yourself.
In addition, it’s the location of a lovely family ski resort, the closest to La Peyriere. We keep some snow chains in the 'cave'.
