La Peyrière is beautifully set in 4 acres of land, sat within a shallow, it provides all the seclusion you could wish for. Most of the action, be it eating, relaxing or swimming is focused around the pool area – which also provides a perfect spot to see the local wildlife, don’t be surprised to see deer, pine martin or even a wild boar!

One of the highlights of the house, the 10 x 5m pool is a beautiful focal point for the daytime. It’s well equipped and maintained by Pierre almost every day. It’s accessed directly from the kitchen and is fenced in on all sides, there’s also an additional security fence available on request.

You’ll find 8 teak sun loungers with accompanying parasols and side tables as well as and outdoor rattan sofa and armchairs.

The pool and the area is lit, which makes for a lovely spot after dinner to chat the night away over a few bottles of wine.

The area around the pool is gated and fitted with an approved alarm which can be activated or deactivated.

As if there isn’t enough to keep everyone entertained there’s also a games room, which is housed inside the barn, which alongside the kitchen opens out on to the pool area. It includes a pool table, table tennis table and everything else you’ll need.

It’s a great space to use at any time, including the bats who like to pop in at dusk… this is the countryside after all!

Next to the pool you have the envious choice of two BBQs, one gas, one charcoal.  Between each is a large outdoor teak dining table, which guests love to dine at throughout the year.
