CORDES-SUR-CIEL
30 minute drive
Our favourite stop off on the way to or from the airport. Not much more can be said about this jewel in the Tarn crown.
Cordes is another must see bastide town, voted France’s favourite in 2014 and for good reason. The town is located on a hilltop, conveniently on the way to or from Toulouse so it can be a nice stop off for lunch on the way back to the airport.
There some quaint independent shops selling a range of products, including knives (Laguiole), leather goods, arts, ceramics etc. Market day is on a Saturday morning.
